din update anything as i din feel like doing so.
So many things to say.
Everything seems so predestined gosh.
Last day of relief teaching was on 20nov and i have been looking for a job since then.
Went for interview for 2-4 dec suntec event helper but received no reply.
6 per hour job but i was looking forward to it.
BUT NO REPLY ):
Sent in tons of emails.
Oh yes, recently have been shuttling between home and SGH.
Mum had a leg op and she's recovering fast.
Feel alot of warmth and love in my family. ((:
Lotsa jokes at the hospital,
which came from the indian lady opp her bed.
She's not ill, wears her home clothes, lie on the bed everyday,
ask for biscuits/tea/coffee, complains alot, treats nurses like waitresses.
Ok i dun have time to talk so much.
Well one job advertisement made my eyes pop out.
Santarina $20 per hour.
Obviously sent in photos etc immediately.
Rachel called, so happy, interview at Central's BK ytd.
Very scared when talking to her cos the eng she speaks is damn gd.
The organisers were there, main organiser's a teacher!
Rather hot one! Not looks but just on the whole!
They are fun, nice, friendly, v comfortable talking to them.
Rachel's eng is v normal when talking to her face to face,
dunno why on the phone is liddat sia!!!
Before this meetup i told myself:
no matter how jialat the costume is,
how ugly it is, i will do it for the money.
Then when i tried the costume on...
GOSH, tube dress still ok. BUT ITS DAMN SHORT ALSO.
Felt damn sian!
Realised that others dun find it short as they quite short.
Talked a little more with the organisers then left.
They will call those selected by sun (today), there were many applicants.
Coincidentally this girl from tp applied too.
She doesnt seem to recognise me but i do.
Then they introed another job they have.
Which is to sell the christmas hats!
santarinas promote and direct buyers to the booth!
Some proceeds goes to charity, various locations available,
you earn wad u sell, 50cents per hat.
Was more interested when they said the sellers earned quite a bit last yr.
contemplated super long, a sian face at sgh later.
SO RACHEL CALLED TODAY.
Super gd english again cant stand it, make me v nervous.
"Do you have time to have a little chat now?"
Gosh, they said they were impressed by my sense of responsibility (quite fake, i din even do anything ytd) and friendliness (other girls were smiley and friendly too!) and asked if i want to be the team leader of the sellers!
goshhh which means working with the very nice 3 of them ((:
Excited and scary shit.
She claimed the pay is very good and much more than the santarinas,
basic pay 6 per hour and 1.5% of proceeds,
i really cant catch wad she said very well.
Just kept saying "ok..." "i see...."
Well, even if i dun earn much im gg to do sth for a course for the first time!!
EH WAIT ACTUALLY NOT. im not even selling the things.
I will just be travelling ard and briefing sellers...
EXORBIDANT TRAVELLING FEES!!!!
DO U KNOW I TOPPED UP MY EZLINK CARD TWICE THIS WK.
$10 each time!!!!!
That means i will know all the sellers!
I believe they will be fun pple!!
but of cos i think i will be v stressed.... hah.
BRAND NEW EXPERIENCE, I MUST DO IT WELL!
This is like seriously God's plan. All other jobs din want me!
Then again i wont be able to take care of my mum.
Going down to buy dinner, damn hungry.
